This policy explains what information MINE (منصة ماين) collects from students, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the platform.
1. Information we collect
To create and run your account we collect only what we need:
- Account details: your full name, email address, and phone number.
- Academic info: your university and study year (used for the leaderboard and to organize courses).
- Payment details: MINE uses manual CliQ bank transfer — we do NOT store card numbers. We keep a record of your order (amount, date, and the course purchased) to confirm and manage your access.
- Learning activity: courses you enrol in, questions you answer, quiz results, RBCs points, video watch progress, and notes you write. This powers your dashboard, history, and the leaderboard.
2. How we use your information
We use your data to: create and secure your account; give you access to the courses you purchase; track your progress and show it back to you; run the RBCs points economy and leaderboard; provide support; and confirm manual CliQ payments.
3. No marketing email
We do not send marketing or promotional email, and we do not sell your data. We only email you for essential reasons: account and password actions, payment/enrolment confirmations, and replies to messages you send us.
4. Third-party services
A few trusted providers help us deliver the platform. They process only what they need to do their job:
- Bunny Stream — hosts and delivers course videos (and, for free samples, YouTube unlisted videos).
- Our web hosting provider — stores the site and its database.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, plus preference cookies for your dark-mode and language choices, and lightweight analytics. See the Cookies Policy for details and how to control them.
6. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Course access is intended to last about six months (one semester) per purchase. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. No online service can promise perfect security, but we limit what we collect and restrict who can access it.
